Rights and use
Updated Oct 9, 2026
This page covers the pictures CutPile makes: CutPile Photoreal Renderings and the floor fields drawn for the CutPile visualizer, wherever they appear. Each file carries a short form of these terms inside it, and points here.
What they are
A CutPile Photoreal Rendering is an AI generated, simulated photo of a real floor in a room. It shows how a floor could look; it is not a photograph of an installed floor. Every one is labeled where it is shown:
CutPile Photoreal Rendering · AI generated, simulated photo
A floor field is an AI generated picture of a floor seen from above, drawn for the visualizer that lays floors in rooms. A floor's true color, sheen and grain are best judged from a sample, in your own light.
Who holds the rights
The renderings and floor fields are made by CutPile and are © BerrySmart, the maker of CutPile. All rights are reserved. Product names, and the products' own photographs, belong to their makers.
What you may do
- View them on the sites that show them, and link to those pages.
- Save a rendering of your own room that a site made for you, for your own use.
What needs our permission
- Copying, republishing, selling or sharing the pictures elsewhere, in whole or in part, cropped or edited.
- Using them to train, test or improve an AI model, or gathering them by scraping, crawling or text and data mining. We reserve these uses, and say so in machine readable form: in each file (the PLUS data mining field, set to prohibited) and in the rules we give AI crawlers.
- Removing or changing the label, the copyright notice or the information inside a file.
How a copy is known
Every copy we publish carries our name, the copyright and these terms inside the file, and the AI generated flag that search engines read. We keep a record of each picture we make, so a copy found elsewhere can be traced to the picture it came from.
